We aren’t easy to find, and that is half the point — but nobody should give up in a car park over it. Here is the address to hand your driver, the landmark to aim for, and a number to message if the pin stops making sense.

The walk
Here is the whole route.
Cenang Street to the front door, filmed as a hyperlapse — so the clip runs fourteen seconds and the actual walk is about five minutes. The middle of it is genuinely dark. That is the right way.

The landmark
Aim for Boxpackers. We’re behind it.
The bar is roughly five minutes off Cenang Street, set back from the road behind Boxpackers. Look for the tin roof and the string lights over the garden — from the street it does not look like a bar, which is why people walk past it.
If the path feels like it is taking you nowhere, keep going. That is the correct path.
